I hate to show my age, but I remember buying DC Talk’s ‘Nu Thang’ album on cassette tape.
That was way before Gotee Records, Jesus Freak and the evolution of tobyMac as a solo artist.
The fact that tobyMac is not only producing, but creating music with an edge, is pretty flippin’ awesome.

In the past ten years, the music world has been completely rocked by the online world. Napster set into motion the online music crazy that made the music industry take notice. Other companies like iTunes and Amazon have duplicated Napster, but in partnership with the record labels. Still others like Pandora, Spotify, and other streaming music stations bring a whole new flavor to the online music world. Even social media gets involved from bands still joining MySpace to feature their music to people like Lady Gaga and Just Bieber featuring their cover images and CD titles on Twitter and Facebook.
So how do people listen to their music in this online age?
