Being my second post for ChurchMag, I thought I’d share my crazy obsession for Apple products.
Now I know what you’re thinking, Pregan is gonna ramble on about design and quote Steve Jobs. But I have been a PC and Windows faithful since I was 6 years old, however, there came a time in my life that I wanted my PC to perform better with my multimedia programs.
Even though I loved to tweak and upgrade my PC , it just wasn’t enough. It wasn’t until I took a small step of faith in 2011 when I bought my first iPhone. I loved it, taking the phone out of the packaging felt like Steve himself wrapped it up.
I experienced the same feeling when I bought my iPad, however, my real leap of faith is when I bought my MacBook Pro and decided to change completely to OS X from Windows.
At first, I was confused and frustrated at Mac OS X, but the performance on almost all my multimedia programs was revolutionary.
Most creatives prefer Mac over PC, however, I do think that both have their strengths and weaknesses. I would encourage creatives to invest in a Mac if they have the money, but there is no shame in using a PC.
I love Apple, but I do think that Tim Cook will need to change the game in order to innovate and inspire more people.
What do you think?

I think before you write your third post, you need to get a better handle on comma usage.
“Now I know what you’re thinking, Pregan is gonna ramble …” Replacing the comma with a colon here not only would make the sentence structure correct, it would make your intro more effective, giving it a slight pause that would result in considerably more impact on the reader.
“But I have been a PC and Windows faithful since I was 6 years old, however, there came a time …”
“Most creatives prefer Mac over PC, however, I do think …”
In both sentence constructions above, you’ve committed the usage transgression known as a comma splice. To fix it, you need a semicolon rather than a comma before the “however”.
You guys are tech nerds; I am a word nerd. We do, however, stand as one in our appreciation of compelling Church Mag content.

Apple has a proven track record of beautiful, reliable products that work. I grew up PC as well and was a diehard defender until I made the leap in 2009 to a MacBook Pro. A few iPods, iPhones & iPads later I’m a full converted Apple Fan Boy.

I made the switch in December 2009.
My wife got a Dell laptop at the same time. I am sure that 90% of my time doing computer troubleshooting is spent on the Dell. Actually, 90% is a low figure. Let’s make it over 95%.
