If you’ve done any significant PHP work for the web, odds are you’ve used the cURL library at some point.
Personally, I’m a fan and have used it a number of plugins and projects that we’ve been working on but it’s somewhat of a pain to initialize simply to query another URL.
Cloudhead looks to be a really cool alternative:

is a simple and intuitive interface for speaking the HTTP protocol.PS: HTTP has never been this much fun.
Cloudhead is an application written for Node.js that supports communicating with a RESTful API that much easier.
