ChurchMag Authors Network: REBOOT

CAN-REBOOT

Almost a year and half ago, we launched the ChurchMag Authors Network. It’s a exclusive social network that includes the core ChurchMag authors. There were a number of requirements to be a part of it and to maintain entrance, but this month, the restrictions are being changed around to allow more of you to join in!

Here’s what the ChurchMag Authors Network is all about and how you can join:

So what happens when you are a part of the ChurchMag Authors Network?

We share prayer requests, ask questions, talk about blog post ideas and a whole lot more. We’ve also been known to help troubleshoot each others website problems and ask app advice.

There are a number of other cool perks, too:

  • ChurchMag Author Network members are invited to all ChurchMag Hangouts.
  • Are eligible for cool writer bonuses.
  • And may be featured on the upcoming ChurchMag podcasts (wait? what?)

The ChurchMag Authors Network was originally started as an experiment and I believe it’s passed the test. It’s been an enjoyable dimension of ChurchMag and I think it’s time to open the door a little wider and let more of you in.

How-To Join the ChurchMag Authors Network

Press_Start_by_Mentis_Rasa

In the past, we’ve had some pretty concrete membership requirements. Write between X and Y number of posts before you’re accepted. Not the case anymore. Your previous activity in the ChurchMag community and writing submissions will now play a role in gaining entrance. I will say, however, that you can count on needing to write at least two or three posts if you’re new to the scene.

You’ve Joined, Now What?

Once you’re in, we do expect some level of participation and involvement with ChurchMag. You’ll need to write at least one post per month. Yup. That’s it.

Those that write more–like one post per week–will be eligible for extra writing bonuses as well as being featured on our upcoming authors page.

If you’ve been writing for ChurchMag, keep your eye’s on your inbox as invites will be sent-out over the next few days. As for you that have an itch to write for ChurchMag or haven’t written in a while, maybe it’s time to give it a go!

Can you define what would be considered “writing”? I ask because I may not be the most verbose writer but think I find content that could be shared that may be of interest to (at least some of) the readers.

If you’ve followed ChurchMag long, you can probably see that not all of our posts are “verbose.” Let’s see what you’ve got: http://churchm.ag/contribute/
