If you watched the promotional video for Pressgram (above), you’ve probably already figured out why your church should be using Pressgram.
Why should Instagram own your photo and why should your church be providing them with all that web traffic? Don’t you want church members and others to visit your website?
With only five days left on Kickstarter (needs to be fully funded by this Monday, April 15th), consider kickstarting Pressgram!
Here’s the creator of Pressgram, John Saddington, telling Church Marketing Sucks why churches should be excited about Pressgram:

Makes sense, right?
Don’t you just love this idea?
“Imagine complete creative control and publishing freedom with the ability to publish filtered photos directly to your WordPress blog!”
Pressgram is the Future
Apps like Pressgram are the future of social networking. As Facebook ballooned, people are looking for smaller networks and niches. Facebook (and even Instagram) have become more like public places. That’s been one of the biggest draws for Google+, as you have the ability to create smaller networks. We’ve seen that dynamic play-out with Tumblr, too.
The other aspect that makes Pressgram so forward thinking, is the WordPress integration. As Twitter keeps wrenching-down the use of their API and the limitations of “tokens”, Pressgram ties into an open source platform!
Besides, shouldn’t your church, ministry or non-profit organization have full creative control over their pictures?

Supporting Innovation
The Church has historically been behind the curve when adopting technology. Pressgram affords an opportunity for the Church to move away from that paradigm and take a leading step in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship.
Ask yourself, “Is this something I would use? Is this something my church could use?”
If the answer is “yes”, take this as an opportunity to “pre-order” Pressgram. I know you’re going to love it!
ChurchMag has supported Pressgram, will you join us?

I backed Pressgram and I can’t wait to use this personally and for my church. We already use Instagram, but will switch to Pressgram once it’s released.

It should be awesome. 😀
