Alright, I want you to watch the video after the jump FIRST.
Then I’m going to talk to you AFTER the video about the idea of having church tech and youth ministry collaborate together.

So here’s my idea. I love how this woman has learned how to create things and teach children. I think that church tech has a unique opportunity to impact children. In fact, when I was a youth director over ten years ago, I actually used my computer engineering degree to do discipleship with a couple of teenagers, showing them how to make a WordPress plugin.
Yeah, we talked about Jesus and then started to program!
I looked at this idea of faith and tech as a one-on-one option, but this video really inspires me to see something more impactful with big groups. The crafting is amazing, I wonder if our church stage design people could do something amazing. Sound engineers? Jump on board and teach teens how to use this. Videographers? Vlogging is big, YouTube even bigger. Go and teach and share Jesus!
Youth pastors: this is not just for church tech. How can you incorporate learning technology, being creative with getting teenagers involved with others in your church to do evangelism and discipleship? Youth group announcements? Worship run 100% by teens more than just one Sunday a quarter for “adult church?” That is just the beginning!
