Played squash last night because I more than needed it. My body is reminding me because I think this is the most unfit I’ve been my entire life. Also, exercise is that much more critical for me especially when pressure and, potentially stress are knocking. I’m glad I played despite the aches. The alternate price for not paying is a life and mental health threat. Being reminded of the importance of self care. The irony is that, this is something I wrote on @churchmag not so long ago. Perhaps it was more a #NoteToSelf than for others, even though I know there might be more people who need to be reminded to pay attention to their physical and mental health—whole person health. Take care of yourselves people. OK, my order is ready.

If you do something good today promise me you’ll throw yourself a 2 minute party.
It doesn’t have to be complicated…
Just stop, say to yourself, “this deserves a party,” then play your favorite song or artist and fill your cup with your favorite beverage.
Pls promise me!!!

“Dear married people: one of the greatest gifts you can offer your single friends is an invitation to be a part of your family. Save them a seat at the table, remember them on holidays, invite them to make a post-dinner ice cream run with your kids…” https://t.co/PTUgvLf2Bm pic.twitter.com/wD9VssyMxi

Great reminder to take care of the single people in our lives.
The heart of repentance is the desire to change and live well rather than guilt and shame (which almost always paralyze). pic.twitter.com/mFgvRzjvP9
