Church Tech Snack Pack #240

Church Tech Snack Pack #240

June 7, 2019
by Allison Dye

It’s Friday — it’s Snack Pack time; from Ikea making custom accessories for gamers to Microsoft making Xbox body wash, and more!

When I was gathering up links to put into this post I came across this article entitled: Microsoft is making Xbox body wash, and I believed that somehow I had stumbled upon an old April Fool’s post. But I hadn’t.

“Surrounded by yes”, writes Seth Godin, is both “good news and bad news”. This article is a great reminder to actively seek out and listen to different, opposing, and new opinions and beliefs.

You may want to check out this Simple Father’s Day Idea for Your Church, because Father’s Day is roughly a week away.

A New 1,087-Piece LEGO Set Celebrates NASA’s 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing. It’s a lot of pieces of awesome.

Ikea is making custom accessories for gamers and they hope to make more accessible products for gamers with physical disabilities in the future.

Here I am to say that this is me.

Loneliness level: sneezing by yourself and saying “excuse me” out loud to absolutely no one

Lil sad right now ’cause I always blamed this on being so polite.

Your church
or ministry
or project
or influence
will not last forever.
So, what will you do
for those you get to love
while they're giving you their
precious attention and time?

THIS.

a mom in my local fb group is asking to borrow (or purchase) a kid's tooth, because in addition to losing her tooth her daughter actually, like, LOST her tooth and has nothing to put under her pillow, in case you were wondering how late-stage capitalism was going

Mhmm.

We say technology has made it faster to communicate but I bet most people got a letter from a raven faster than some of my best friends text me back

LOL

Do you have a link that you would like for me to include in a future Church Tech Snack Pack? Send it to me!
