Church Tech Snack Pack #222

Church Tech Snack Pack #222

January 25, 2019
by Allison Dye

It’s time for your weekly Snack Pack, from an icy moon possibly leading to another universe, to an egg that’s now famous, with a cute plush turtle in between– that’s not even all of it. Let me just let you enjoy your snack.

A Gigantic Circular Ice Patch Formed in a River in Westbrook, Maine was discovered. It looks like an icy moon lying on top of the river, making one wonder if it’s a moon in the sky in a universe below. Do I consume too much sci-fi? Maybe.

Spotify is testing a simplified Car View for controlling your music while driving and when I read that, it reminded me of this blog post which I read earlier this week by Blessing, who saw someone driving, phone in hand, with a little kid in the back seat. I feel like this Spotify update doesn’t stop people from using their phones while driving (good luck doing that!), BUT it does make it safer.

These amazing Landscapes of Glistening Digital Rectangles are Formed and Subdivided by Algorithms.

Facebook’s ’10 Year Challenge’ is just a harmless meme, right? Um, maybe not…

In case you missed it, this egg is now the most liked post on Instagram, beating Kylie Jenner– and they’re working on most re-Tweeted Tweet on Twitter.

Let's set a world record together and get the most retweeted tweet on Twitter. Beating the current world record held by Yusaku Maezawa @yousuck2020 (5.3 million!)

Go re-Tweet it. You know you want to.

*waking up in the morning after getting only like 2 hours of sleep*

I know this feeling.

Snow is the only weather you can eat.

This is what Twitter is for.

If you don't speak up for what you believe in, your silence will say it all.

Truth bomb.

LIFE HACK — if you ever feel sad think of an animal, any animal, and go to amazon and search “plush *animal*” and read the reviews of the most popular one literally a guaranteed mood boost everytime pic.twitter.com/IK2W0b5rq3

Will be doing this.

Gmorning.
Sending you all the love I’ve got to spare in waves, in tiny cardboard packages, in Manila folders, via owl, in secret notes, in cloud formations, in lyrics, in tweets, in WhatsApp, in whatever carrier service you need,
just pass it on

Everyone needs this in their life.

Do you have a Tweet or a link that you would like for me to include in a future Church Tech Snack Pack? Send it to me!
