With 2017 just beginning there are multiple opportunities to check out some amazing conferences and workshops. Here are 10 conferences to check out in 2017 that will benefit you, your church staff and communication efforts.
That Church Conference
That Church Conference: That Church Conference is a two-day conference that focuses on Practical Church Communications training for those in ministry. Even though the training is focused on those in the church the content can be used in the business world as well. There are also one-day workshops and other streamed events via their community site.

Catalyst
Catalyst: Catalyst is a leadership conference that unifies, equips, and challenges leaders who love the Church. There are multiple locations and one-day conferences to attend. This is by far one of the best leadership conferences around.

Global Leadership Summit
Global Leadership Summit: “Fresh, actionable and inspiring leadership content from a world-class faculty at a convenient location near you.” GLS is held in Chicago at Willow Creek on August 11-12, however there are multiple locations that stream the event. If you cannot make it to Chicago check to see if there is a location near you. Great content from world class leaders.
Orange Conference
Orange Conference: Orange is designed as a conference for entire family ministry teams. They offer thoughts on subject matters for preschool, children’s, student, NextGen and senior leaders as well as volunteers. Everyone has a place at The Orange Conference. The dates for Orange 2017 are April 26-28 in Atlanta.
Flow
Flow: “The Flow Creative Arts Conference will help you rediscover, reconnect, and recalibrate your creative life to its Source.” This is an online only conference so you can enjoy from the comforts of your home or office. The online conference will be held April 27th at 11am.
SALT
SALT: “SALT isn’t just another creative arts conference. It’s a movement of people desperate to rebuild the creative walls of the Church, not for the sake of marketing, but the sake of engaging people with the contagious Gospel of Jesus Christ!” SALT started as a conference in Nashville and have announced they are going on tour. They have yet to announce their 2017 dates so check their site to see when you can participate.
Q Denver
Q Denver: “This isn’t just another conference, but an immersive experience allowing you to engage the most important and current issues shaping our world. The Q Conference is where Christians come together to collaborate and explore ideas about how the Gospel can be expressed within our cultural context.” Q will challenge your thinking and enhance your awareness to what is happening around our world and culture. Q Denver happens April 21-23.
STORY
STORY: “STORY is a two day conference designed by creatives, for creatives, who tell stories in a variety of industries. Part instruction, part inspiration, you’ll be challenged and stretched as a creative by innovative talks and unique performances.” STORY’s annual gathering is in Nashville from September 21-22. They also have local gatherings in a few select cities, and are working on upcoming workshops.
C3 Conference
C3 Conference: “C3 Conference is a gathering of thousands of leaders and influencers from all walks of life and all around the world who are passionate about bringing a new level of excellence to their church and hope to their community.” The conference is held in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas on February 8-9.
The Intensive
The Intensive: “The Intensive is a two-day concentrated workshop designed to help communicators from churches of all sizes improve their communications and marketing effort.” They have various locations and speakers. Check out one of the dates and locations for some great content to improve your communications.
