Remember the Y2K bug?

Good times.

I remember the world being on the edge of their seats as “computers around the world” rolled over from 1999 to 2000.

The rest (or the lack thereof) is history.

Of course, there were plenty of people willing to make a few extra bucks of the scare:

Uh-huh. Sure.

I remember about a week after y2k I stopped at a Christian book store an found the y2k book section (yep a whole section). I thought that they’d be cheaper; nope. All the books with wrong info were still full price. Fail.

I guess it just proves that the “God guarantees Christ is coming back on such and such a day” or “the Mayans predict the end of the world” ought to remember y2k and all the other end of the world predictions.
