Researchers from Cornell’s Creative Machines Lab have got two of their chatbots to talk to each other – to see what happens.
It’s well, interesting (and hilarious) – they even talk about God!

The bots are of the lab’s submission to the Loebner Prize Competition in Artificial Intelligence a contest for computer programs can conduct the most human conversations. Think they’ve got a way to go yet!

Thinking about this some more, it really surprises me how quickly they started talking about God! If these are programmed to react like ‘normal’ people – the programmers must things people also want to talk about God.
Guess we have to be ready to talk about God online (and possibly unicorns…)
