It seems like everyone has a cell phone these days. In fact, 10 year olds are running around with them so parents can feel safe. Unfortunately, with the addition of all of this connectedness, we may have given up more than we have gained. Some of that giveaway is the quality of communication that you have when you are face to face.
Remember the good ole’ days when teens treated parents with respect, you could have a delightful conversation with your neighbor on a Saturday afternoon, and people would look you in the eyes when they talked to you? Nah, me either, but my parents tell me there really was a time like that.
All kidding aside, is look at how the cell phone has directly impacted how we communicate with others and it is definitely in a negative light.

One of my biggest phone pet peeves is people who talk on the phone while driving. It’s dangerous and illegal here but people still do it.
