There are a few things that I wish I can do in my Gmail account.
I use my email inbox a little like a to-do list and too many times, I read a message and then have to mark it as unread, because I need to take care of it at a later date. You can see how this type of system can get out of hand really quick.
There has also been times I’ve needed to follow up on an email sent, and I either rely on my memory or have to set a task in Wunderlist to remind me to follow up.
Finally, there’s been a number of times I’ve wanted to schedule an email for various reasons.
Now I can do all of this in Gmail!

As you can see from the video above, Boomerang for Gmail takes your inbox to a whole new level!
Send Email Now or Later!
I really like this feature, especially since I work in a different time zone than everybody else. Now my emails won’t get lost in the overnight junk messages!
Follow Up Reminders
Let’s say I open an email message that needs my attention tomorrow or next week. When I have the message open, I can have Boomerang archive the message, and at the time I chose, Boomerang we’ll bring it back to my inbox, marked unread, starred, or even at the top of my message list.
Reply Reminders
This option is super cool and shiny. With Boomerang for Gmail, I can email advertising info to a potential ChurchMag advertiser and select to only be reminded if nobody replies. This way, I can send a follow up email if I haven’t heard back from them in, for example, a week.

Conclusion
In a nutshell, Boomerang is a browser based plugin for Firefox and Chrome. If you’re sporting the web any other way, you’re out of luck.
Did I install it? Yes. In fact, I’m always signed-in multiple Gmail accounts, both Gmail and Google Business Apps based Gmail, and it’s working with no problem.
Is it worth a monthly fee? That depends on how important these feature are to you.

I’m just not very confident in a third-party plugin to mess around with my Gmail. I think I will wait until these features are native. I love these features though.

I hear you. I’m afraid to get too hooked into something that could easily be gone tomorrow, leaving my Gmail in a state of weirdness. I don’t think this would hurt me too bad, though.

This would be an EPIC Gmail feature. I would be happy with it as a Lab!
