Welcome to Blogging From a New Angle #2!
Here at 8BIT, we love blogging and want to encourage everyone to blog. Sometimes though, blogging can be very tough. Whether you blog professionally or just for fun, there is normally a pressure to blog consistently, and rightly so. Consistency is key to building an awesome blog.
On days where inspiration disappears and blogging seems to be a real drag, I always find that blogging from a new angle can be a helpful way to get back on track and show your readers a different side to you.
Last week we were looking at Objects & Possessions. This week it’s Life Experience!
Getting personal on your blog can be a great thing. It’s a great opportunity for your readers to get to know you a bit better and it makes your blog as a whole, a lot more human and friendly.
All of us have interesting life experiences and stories. Not only can they be interesting to share, but I bet that you can find a few links in stories that you have from the past that will make for a blog post that is not only personal, but also can link to a current topic that you would like to cover within your blog’s regular schedule.
So “Blogging From a New Angle #2”:
- What was the worst mistake that you ever made in your life? What could you have done differently?
OR - What was something that you wish you had known earlier on in your life? How could this knowledge have changed your life at that time?
OR - Talk about a time in your life where the odds were stacked against you and failure was an almost certainty, but somehow you were OK, despite the odds.
I hope that you feel inspired. Let us know in the comments if you use any of these topics for your blog, and leave a link too!
Happy Blogging!

i wish i knew more about myself and the strengths that I have that are unique about me. I have not always been very emotionally intelligent either.
knowing these things could have saved me tons of grief in terms of my jobs and vocation … but i don’t regret the path that i’ve taken.
I counsel people to “know thyself” as best as you possibly can!

That is wise counsel. I have certainly appreciated you encouraging that in my life John.

I wished early on in my journey thru life that I understood the difference between relationship with Christ and religion. Its all about personal relationship with Christ not just a religion.
I dont regret it though, its part of my journey and my message. I wont be who i am today without the complete experience.
James Brooks says
🙂 absolutely! Thanks for sharing 🙂
