With it being the end of the year, we see a lot of “best of’s,” including within the technology industry. The world of gadgets has seen a huge rise in stuff this year: drones, tablets to replace notebooks, phones that are replacing tablets, Windows making a HUGE comeback, and stuff that can kill us (besides the previously stated drones).
This video by Mashable covers them all. Honestly though, I would love to see their 30 second version, cutting out a lot of the fat.
What is your favorite gadget from this year?

It’s not hardware for me – it was the pleasant surprise of Windows 10. 🙂
Jeremy Smith says
Absolutely

I’ve been afraid to express my joy with Windows 10 because I truly was scared of backlash in the tech community. Glad to hear others who are much wiser than myself agree that it is a strong showing for the future of Microsoft.
Also really loved the Galaxy Gear 2 for it’s design. I hate the square design of Apple watch and the original Gear. It’s a watch I would actually wear.
Jeremy Smith says
It’s absolutely awesome so far! Smart watches, meh.
Jared M says
I’m a big watch guy, so I’m wearing one anyway. The idea that it does more than just tell time intrigues me, but only if the design is something I would like to wear. Not ready to invest in one yet, though.
Jeremy Smith says
The investment is SO tough… but I’m not a watch guy.
