Have you ever thought about the guy holding the camera?
Do you lose your humanity behind a lens?
I’m so wrapped-up in watching the footage they’re capturing, I’ve never thought about the person behind the lens.
Thoughtful stuff, here, so be careful:

This is very thought provoking. My daughter was recently in the city at night and witnessed a fight between two girls which really rattled her. Not the fight so much even though it got quite out of hand but what disturbed her was the number of people quickly taking the opportunity to video it on their phones or taking photos and no-one stepping in to help stop it. I’m sure footage went quickly up on YouTube. Perhaps it was out of fear or legal repercussions but it is sad that as a society in general we are eager to get it up on You Tube but allowing what’s happening to continue.

True. This concept, behind the lens, has a deep cultural effect now that everyone with a smartphone can instantly be behind its lens.
