I have shared with you guys about how I have failed to backup my hard drive and in a recent crash, lost about a month’s worth of work. Apparently I am part of a majority of people and to be responsible is the rare exception. Please here me when I say that you need to do as I say and NOT as I have done in the past! Data backup is a very important thing and should not be considered when it is too late.
Here are three of the best pieces of tips from the infographic below:
- Only 10% of people backup daily, even though 90% of the sample group believes their data important.
- 25% of people never backup and 30% backup monthly. At the same time 54% know someone who have lost files.
- 27% of people who do backup use a hard drive and 8% use cloud services.
