Our philosophy or perspective of something determines how we use or treat it. The wrong view or philosophy could mean failure to get the most of tools, tech and opportunities. This means you could miss opportunities and means that stare you in the face, all because of how you look at them. This extends to your website; your view of it is the difference between making it work for you or absolute. Let’s see how some look at websites and how you should think about your website.
Two Keys to Get the Most Out of Tech
Many factors contribute to success and effectiveness of tech. Tech users, are usually not the developers. We, as users, generally don’t work on tech; our focus is its use. This means the only way we can get the most out of tech is mostly dependent on what we have control over.
I know I’m not the only one who’s got caught up in the hype and adopted tech with little thought. I’ve entangled myself and teams into something not not investigated well. Because I’m an early adopter, teams I lead tend to have the same lean. Team leaders need to be aware of their own biases and be mindful when adopting technologies.
One of the most important things in getting the most out of tech is understanding it. You cannot be effective with a tool you don’t understand. This doesn’t mean you completely understand everything about solutions you use. Commit to find out enough to get started and a growing understanding.
How And Why I Use Mind Maps
I’m no genius. Every now and then my memory fails me. I sometimes get overwhelmed with the amount of detail or information that comes my way. Many years ago my uncle told me that my notebooks had better memory than me. He was right. The day he told me that, my life changed. A tower of old notebooks and journals stands as evidence in my study.
With time, the ideas and information I’ve had to capture and process grew, a lot. It became important to somehow index my ideas. I needed to get smarter with how I not only captured but processed information. From study notes to brainstorming, I’ve experimented with many ways of capturing ideas and information.
Overcoming Resource Constraints
Let me guess: you have more dreams and vision than you do resources. You either have little or not enough equipment, people or money to execute some ideas. Constraints are often more reality; abundance is rare though not impossible. The mission doesn’t change because the resources have. Despite constraints, you still have to advance and deliver.
With limited resources, progress is difficult but not impossible. So, how do we go about overcoming resource constraints? I don’t have it all figured out but here are some suggestions:
The Instagram Husband Struggle Is Real
Because the Internet is full of them, I thought the video was just another silly one. After going to the website, it seems the Instagram husband is actually for real!
Who would’ve ever thought?
Now there’s an expression to capture the plight of some spouses. They’re at the mercy of their spouses’ Instagram-addiction.
You Have Great Coffee When…
Great churches have great coffee. It can be a difficult task figuring out what ‘great coffee’ actually means. The palate is complex. That is why some people prefer some food or drink to another. Coffee, however, has to be the common ground (see what I did there?). What if we had an empirical point of reference? I have spent many years and with humility, submit my findings. You have great coffee when:
