With the death of Flash and the rise of HTML5, there’s been a whole new set of tools developed to add that “special touch” to website design.
As I survey the options presented for the ChurchMag redesign, I keep thinking about those little touches that can really make a design stand out. I haven’t nailed anything down for ChurchMag, yet (other than the framework), but I did recently came across this bit of eye-candy that I thought I would pass along to the rest of you.
Check these out:
These animated SVG icons are awesome. There’s a lot of cool options, too.
I just love some of the “organic,” “analog” styled SVG checkboxes and radio buttons that’s been put together here.
I am thinking that some of these creative buttons styles would still look half-decent for users with older browsers. That is one nice thing about ChurchMag, is so many that read have the latest browser!
I’ll need to read more about these icon hover effects. I really like them. It’s simple and subtle. I dig it.
The main menu could really pop with these creative link effects, don’t you think?
Hope you like these as much as I do! If you have a chance to use any of these, be sure to let me know. I would like to see some of this in the wild.
What’s your favorite effect?
