Recently on ChurchDrop I shared a video of Kevin Rose talking about the social elements that he felt were missing from Amazon Kindle.
Today I made an exciting discovery and that is that you can now make your notes public, therefore sharing them with whoever “follows” you through their twitter-style profile system.
I think that this is a great step in the right direction for Kindle, and I am really excited about the feature getting more popular and making use of it myself.
To check out the new feature, share your notes, and follow others, head to http://kindle.amazon.com.
Let me know what you think of the new feature and how you get on!

Great tip James, I’m going to have to check that out on my Kindle.
James Brooks says
Yeh please do! Let me know your profile URL when you do!

James — Very cool find! I’ve been hoping they’d do something like this for a while now, and didn’t realize that they finally had.
You should edit the post and put your profile URL up there, as people are hard to find on there right now unless they pop up in the “highly followed people” section. Here’s mine:

Thanks Mickey, am now following you!

Cool — ditto!
