One of the ideas I love is “Creative Constraints.” The idea that by putting some constraints on yourself, you can actually spark more creativity. This project by Sebastien Del Grosso is a great example where he created amazing graphics using Star Wars action figures. This is a great example of using something which people have around and turning it into great graphics.
How Sebastian Made Great Graphics Using Star Wars Action Figures
In one example he took a droid figure, positioned it in an action pose, shot it against a white background to create a silhouette, then rearranged it to represent other droids. Afterwards, he complied the images into one image and then added some stylised effects in the background to set the scene.

Could you use these ideas?
Maybe you could try making a graphic starting with a real life object but placing it in an artificial place.
