One of the neat things about new mediums and devices is that they impact the rest of the web and how we create and design.
For some this can be an immense frustration since managing all these updates in technology can be seen as a burden but for others, like me, I see it as an opportunity to teach an old dog new tricks.
Essentially it’s narrowing the gap between the content and the effective consumption by the end user, which equals better usability and experience.
One such technology is the finger swipe that we see so often in iPhone, iPads, and now many other devices.
Learn how to code this into your site here!
Pretty darn sweet if you ask me.

that’s sweet.
Funny how we get so used to finger swipes so quickly. I catch myself trying to touch screen on my kindle all the time. frustrating. what i have to use a tiny button & navigate menus? pish-posh. 🙂

I know this is an old post but this came up in a google search and can this be used for page navigation for a simple mobile site?

Can you direct me to a direct example of some JavaScript that allows users to navigate webpages using swipe functionality on an ipad. You mention the script highlighted in the article allows for this yet I can find now examples on the web.
Many Thanks
