If you don’t have a personal branding landing page, about.me is definitely worth a look!
Plus, they have some cool stuff going on:
about.me has joined forces with MOO and is offering a free pack of 50 about.me business cards. They claim it’s “top secret” and have sent some sneaky emails out to some of their users, but we’re on to them. 😉
If you’re an about.me user, or decide to sign-up today, go take a look at about.me’s new “Offers” section in your account dashboard. Follow the instructions and about.me will even cover the shippings costs – #WINNING!
Here’s the really nifty part:
We [about.me] generate and add a QR code to your business card that links to your about.me profile. People can scan the code on your business card, and check out your about.me page on their phone!
Told you it was nifty.
Sign-in or sign-up and see if you can take advantage of this pile of coolness at about.me.

Don’t see the offer on the dashboard either…

This seems to be happening to everyone. #FAIL

Hmm… must be for a limited number of people – I can’t find the offers link anywhere. 🙁

Must have. I’m pretty bummed-out about it.
Cliff Seal says
We did QR codes on Moo cards for a campaign recently and people dug it!

Sweet!

Funny. I built this functionality into my landing page (similar to about.me, but better and hand-coded). I wonder where they got the idea, cause it’s a good one.
Eric Dye says
Maybe you? 😉
It’s a very good idea.
Checked out your site, good stuff.
(You should consider submitting some posts with us.)
Christopher Szulwach says
Nope, no “Offers” link visible.
Eric Dye says
Dude. So sad. It’s as if they heard us coming.
LAME.
