This jQuery gallery plugin is really nice.
Even if you’re wanting to use a gallery jQuery plugin, this is a nice option, but the mobile friendly aspect is top notch.
After running the demo on iOS, I was sold.
TouchTouch
When I brought up the demo page on my iOS device, I simply tapped on one of the photos to make it “fullscreen.” After that, it was just a matter of making a swiping motion to view the rest of the photos — very slick.
Responsive and touch compatible?
Yes, please!
TouchTouch features include:
- Smooth CSS3 animations and transitions.
- A responsive CSS interface that fills the screen and responds to changes in device orientation.
- Preloads photos only when they are needed.
- Supports swiping through photos.
- Displays onscreen arrows and listens for arrow key presses on desktop browsers.
TouchTouch jives with all major browsers, with the exception of IE7 and below — meh — learn to update your browser!
Get the deets, download and try the demo on the TouchTouch page.
