The internet is a resource warehouse.
There are millions of sites that look to share resources, information, and ideas with you the reader. Some of these sites are very well known. Sites like Mashable, Digg, Smashing Magazine, TechCrunch, are just a few that come to mind. But there are some sites that are filled with resources that you do not know about.
Here are three sites that I think you should check every day:
1. LikeCool
LikeCool.com is one of the coolest sites (pun intended) out there. Highlighting crazy, off the wall, awesome pictures, gadgets, and videos from all over the web is their focus and man are they good at what they do.
If you ever wonder where Guy Kawasaki gets most of his tweets and resources from, look no further then this site.
2. Trendwatching
If you are looking for what is past present and future, then TrendWatching.com is the place to turn. Examining the culture to find the latest trends and information, this site is your one stop shop for all things trendy. Here is how they describe themeselves:
Scanning the globe for the most promising consumer trends, insights and related hands-on business ideas. For the latest and greatest, we rely on our network of hundreds of spotters in more than 120 countries worldwide.
Trendwatching provides a monthly trend that is about to explode and gives you the opportunity to know what it could be. Here is your chance to be called trendy (some of you need the help), just read and impress all your friends.
3. theFWA
FWA stands for Favourite Website Awards, and is quickly becoming one of my favorite websites. Thefwa.com organizes user submitted sites from all over the internet into the best of the best and provides its readers with site of the day, site of the month, and site of the year. Want to find some hidden gems on the internet? Then start visit thefwa.com daily and maybe you could find a couple of sites of the day for yourself. And check out the site of the year, amazing.
Well there you have it, three sites that will help you find some great websites spread across the internet.
What about you, is there a site you would add to this list that does a great job of providing resources, information, and ideas?

One I check almost daily is http://www.givewayoftheday.com Full licensed copies of software for free, 24 hours only and it’s submitted by the publisher. Most of what is listed is junk, stuff that should be free anyways and isn’t worth using even if it was. Every once and awhile you can find a real gem, they’ve had Systools 2010 listed, Registry Mechanic, Malware Bytes, several worth while BR and DVD rippers. Certainly not a goldmine but 20 seconds a day makes it an easy trip.
