You may have seen some of the French artist, Benedetto Bufalino’s, work before. He is known for transforming everyday objects, like turning wheelchairs into Mario Kart karts, changing cars or RVs into pools, adding Pac-Man characters to telephone lines, or creating aquariums out of telephone booths and backhoes.

Data is such a beautiful thing.
It can give us the answer to something that seemed almost unsolvable. It can fix financial problems, marriages, medical issues, and help save the world. Unfortunately, when data is manipulated, it can also be used for less than kosher reasons and goals.
The visual software has enabled more usage of graphs throughout all media, it has also made them easier to use in a careless or dishonest way — and as it turns out, there are plenty of ways graphs can mislead and outright manipulate. Here is Lea Gaslowitz in a TED-Ed talk who helps us better understand and learn to spot misleading graphs for data.

This week, Jeremy reviews the GoPro HERO 5 camera and hopes of using it for future projects. If you don’t know anything about the GoPro cameras, they are small, mobile, waterproof, and “drop-resistant” camera designed to be put on helmets of bikers, the front of surfboards, and as people jump out to parachute.
They are not bulky and they are not designed to replace Canon or Nikon cameras. But people who work in youth ministry, active people, or filming enthusiasts definitely need to look into using them.
