Superman, Diversity, and Unity in Christ

February 29, 2016
by Phil Schneider

Apologies to our international readers, but this post is going to be a bit of “inside baseball” for our US readers. In fact, this might be the most US-centric disclaimer of a US-centric post ever.

Superman is my favorite superhero. He might even be my favorite fictional character in all of literature. There are a lot of reasons for this, but that’s not the point of this article. How Many Active Social Media Users Are There? [Infographic]

February 27, 2016
by Meghan Howard

In doing research for an upcoming presentation, I came across this infographic filled with the basic stats on the active monthly users of each of the major social media platforms.

The numbers should not really surprise us, however upon looking at the numbers, I am always amazed at just how many people are on various social media channels each month. Why this matters, is that with each of these platforms there is an opportunity to “Go into all the world” and preach the Good News of Jesus.

That is why we do what we do in the church – even in the digital world.
