Buy and selling of domains is business for some. That’s how I lost one of my own domain names. My register made a mistake and I lost it to a domain name shark who offered it back at too high of a price.
There are, however, more legitimate reasons to purchase aftermarket or secondary market domains. These are domain names that have been previously owned and become available for purchase once they expire or when the owner decides to sell it. Sometimes a domain name will have inbound links, traffic and branding value, giving the new owner an initial boost in traffic that a shiny new domain wouldn’t have.
As 20,000 domain names become available everyday, here’s how you can buy a domain name that’s already registered:

If you own a blog or website for your business, church, or ministry, you might have heard of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). In many ways, I describe SEO as the mythical dragon that terrorizes the land. We know something is there because we see the devastation that comes in its wake and see the smoke that comes from the mountain in the distance, but not much can be said about it because no one survives its wake and so no one can describe it.

The first month of the year is almost over. The time is perfect.
New Year Resolutions are so last year. They’re almost always inspired by peer pressure and made in moments of regrettable levity, and they usually end up having a shelf life of a fortnight. Yes, there are some people who see resolutions through, and on behalf of the rest of us “normal” folks, I say, “Good for you.”
But I feel like starting something new and resolute, something like a time capsule, perhaps we could call it a life resolution. Instead of trying to do something different ever year, how about making a set of goals that will make this world a better place for the long haul? This pretty much means making ourselves better people to reflect God’s love to more people and become better stewards of the talents we have been blessed with. I would like to focus mine life resolutions on technology as that’s where my personal passions are.

Right when you thought the best time to drink coffee was all the time.
It turns out, all the time isn’t the best time.
I thought it was interesting to see how the time of day changed the effectiveness of caffeine, as I have personally noticed that caffeine doesn’t always effect me the same way. Mystery solved!
