It is no secret that teenagers are getting into a lot of stupid stuff online. With everything from sexting to pornography to cyberbullying to pirating movies and music, it seems that there are so many different ways that students can get into trouble online. Even worse, there are so many ways to access the Internet than ever before. They now have access to computers, iPads, iPhones, friends’ tech, PSPs, XBox 360, tech at school, and computers at the library.
The question is:

Being named one of the 25 Most Influential Evangelicals in America is an honor that few have. Well, as few as 25 I guess. Rick Warren was mentioned on this list by Time Magazine. He’s also got a little book out that has sold over 30 Million copies. I think it’s safe to say he has a bit of influence.
Rick starts out his talk on Influence by going straight to the word. He lets everyone know he’s going to be talking about Moses.
Why Moses? Well first of all, he was the most influential person in the entire Old Testament. Second of all– he’s the most influential person in the Old Testament. Make sense? Good.
The story of Moses is pretty interesting. First, Moses learns to be a “somebody”, growing up as a prince of Egypt. Then he learns how to be a nobody when he flees Egypt. Then something really interesting happens– God teaches Moses to become God’s somebody.
