Appears I have a public apology to make. Zondervan purchased BibleGateway.com, not crosswalk.com. Here is the reference http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2008/november...I will update my blog post listed at the top of this thread.

Mars Hill is one concern, though it would be nice to know what Zondervan is planning with the purchase of Crosswalk.com and now OnTheCity.org. What sort of integration if any is planned? Who are they planning to purchase next and what does it mean for the N. American Church as a whole? Only time will tell. Though this could make a good blog post....hint, hint.

Don't get me wrong. I love Mars Hill and what they are doing with technology. In many ways they are pioneering some of this and leading the way for other churches to realize the power of what the web and other technologies can do to aid in the spreading of the gospel.

The irritation in my comment comes from a larger burr under my saddle in regards to the Church being so slow to think out of the box and take the web seriously (aside from being afraid of it...).

I know, I know. I'm preaching to the choir... Just venting a little.
