I suppose we do to some extent, but then I would argue that is what spiritual heroes are for - to remind us that it is possible to live a holy life and that there is a god. Of course, when you said &quot;spiritual heroes&quot; my mind immediately went to the saints, and not modern Christian celebrities (where I can see the danger).</description>
