Today’s “tech topic” is:
What is your Twitter Bio and why did you choose it?
I might as well start…
My Twitter Bio is “i break stuff”. I chose this because it honestly reflects who I am and what I (apparently) do daily. I break things, and often times I have less interest of putting them back together as I do just breaking them and seeing how they work.
Mine is:
communications director & graphic design for grace church (whoisgrace.com).
Because I want to use twitter to connect with people who do the same things as me. I also want people in Erie to know what church I represent.

Pretty straight-forward and to the point…
Here's mine:
Husband, father, church tech guy, NBA fan, professional obstinate fixator.
I had just this a few months ago: "what other's do with talent, I do with obstinate fixation". Which, my friends, is my life in a nutshell.
I add the rest because 1) my wife and children and my church are important parts of my life, 2) someone's got to be an NBA fan and 3) because everyone else was doing it.

Describes what I do and how I want to connect with other using Twitter. However, I'll be honest, I'm thinking of changing it…more focus on the last one.
Aren't the lists of interests a little too common and boring? Why not craft a clever, detailed paragraph that gets the points across, but doesn't just list things off one after another. I find being "too cute" is also a problem. Can we not aim for succinct and articulate?
Mine is: Trying to be real, not rude; christian, not creepy; creative, not crappy.
Because that's what I'm going for.

I believe in being clear who I am and what I do. I don't do random thoughts in my bio.

That's me. I just realized I left out Husband
will change it before my wife get's on to twitter, that gives me the next 20 years.
I don't give it much thought. I hardly ever actually visit twitter but now after seeing yours, that makes 2 of my favorite followers bios cooler than mine. I had to check but it's the "Pastor, husband, blah blah blah" bio up on mine. Think I'll go change it
