Used to be a whole lot more than it is now – ever since I bought a Blackberry. Wish I could get an iPhone though… thanks AT&T for showing NO love to Central Nebraska :)

I don't like AT&T's data network… only reason I don't have an iPhone. And I'm lovin my new BlackBerry Storm! But I did buy a iTouch iPod so I could play around with apps… haha

i can't stand people who always talk about money, but i couldn't imagine shelling THAT much over-and-over for a new phone. my Blackberry will have to do. maybe one day, i'll grow into "cool" and get the iPhone… maybe

I get a new phone every two years when my contract is up for renewal. :P Being in college doesn't leave me a lot of time to bring in the money necessary for me to buy a new phone when I get bored with my current one. I am actually due for a new phone, but there are two reasons why I haven't gotten one yet:

    1) I'm in Canada as an exchange student until the end of April
    2) I'm waiting for the Palm Pre to be released ( http://www.engadget.com/hub/palm-pre )

I saw the Palm Pre on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon… looked pretty sweet!

Thanks to the iPhone, hopefully I won't have to buy another phone anytime soon!

I must be in the small minority that actually treats it like a phone. I try to make it last the two years for the upgrade without busting it.

In the last 13 months I have had a Samsung T519, HTC-s620 (Dash), Palm Treo Pro and now the Nokia e71. However…. the Nokia e71 is going to need to last the year for as much as it cost me unlocked!!!

yeah… probably time to slow down… haha

In my defense, I did have a SUPER OLD starter Nokia http://preview.tinyurl.com/dyctgv that I had for at least 5 years. It became infamous amongst my group of friends because I later got a Neon clear cover. It now lies in history as the 'Green Machine.' :-)

i don't use the phone that much anymore. the blackberry storm is all set up to receive all my email and i use twitterberry in the field. i had the palm 700w for 2 years, it failed at the end. no more toys for awhile.

I get bored with mine all the time, problem is they are so freakishly expensive here that I am usually stuck with them for about 2 years (I've only ever had 5 cellphones)

my daughter has had more cellphones than you have had and she's 2.5 years old.

    is that sad or what.
