I retired my Blackberry in 2008. (In part to un-plug from the Internet and because I couldn't keep paying $90/month for service.) I needed something that I could use to keep all my important dates and still receive reminders, etc. Not only can I setup new events in it by sending a text message from my plain flip phone, but I can also setup text-message reminders within the calendar or even query tomorrow's events from my phone via text messaging. It's made loosing my Blackberry calendar that much more bearable. (I was syncing my Blackberry calendar with Google Calendar before I retired it.) Google Calendar.
