Social Networking is fun. Twitter is fun. But sometimes chumps infiltrate our networks. And chumps need dumped.
Enter ChumpDump. Check it out:
ChumpDump that helps you clean up the noise in your twitter feed.
In the context of a lottery game, ChumpDump supplies a random twitter account you’re following, runs relevant statistics, and allows you to decide whether to “DUMP” or “SAVE” a folowee (Klout Score, Follower Count, # of tweets, # of links in tweets, # of DM and Replies to you, & whether that account is following you back).
An example:
After checking out all relevant material on a particular tweeter you’re following, you can decide whether or not to dump the chump.
There is a special kind of releif that comes from knowing that an irrelevant person won’t be showing up in your twitter feed.
Choosing whether to dump or save a tweeter, is just the start. After that, you can provide feedback as to why you chose your particular action.
ChumpDump then posts these reasonings anonymously within their app.
Take a minute to read through the list of reasons why people get dumped and you’ll learn a few key habits you DON’T want to adopt.
Mostly being inactive, not interacting, or tweeting too much.
And then comes the part that takes real courage: you can make your reasoning public.
ChumpDump allows you to tweet about the person you saved or dumped for all of twitter to see. And includes the #chumpdump hashtag.
For me, this has served as a sort of #followfriday function.
For example, I saved @8bit and then they asked me to write a review!
You can adopt, save, dump those you follow.
For each action, ChumpDump awards you some “karma.” The more you use it, the more badges you can earn.
Being free in both the iTunes Store and Android Marketplace, there’s little reason not to download ChumpDump and start dumping some chumps.
You know you want to!
So, what are your thoughts?
Is this something that would prove valuable for you?
Do you have more than the average amount of Twitter “chumps”?
Let us hear your thoughts!
And, of course, let us know if you “dump” anyone.

I looked at the app store and I couldn’t find it.
The link in the article will open the iTunes store. Hmmmmm… Did you search as one word or two?
The iPhone version requires IOS4, so if you haven’t upgraded your phone yet, then you won’t see it. Likewise if you have an iPad you won’t find it for that either since the ipad isn’t IOS4 yet.
