Variable Stylesheets for Different Browser Sizes

This is something that I’m looking into very heavily as I believe it introduces the next step in web usability: Variable CSS stylesheets depending on different browser sizes.

Ever consider it?

Check this video and link to a great tutorial after the jump…

Chris Coyier has a great tutorial on it and I’d spend some time giving it a read.

I’d love to do this for all the 8BIT properties… what do you think?

So could you develop for the iPhone without using mobile plugins or anything?

As long as you were using the same content, you could load radically different CSS to optimize that junk.

    8Bit…my mind was just BLOWN.

Variable stylesheets is becoming more and more key, in my opinion. People are accessing their sites on all types of devices.
