Vanilla Forums Enables Embedding, WordPress Plugin

Vanilla Forums, a great choice when it comes to forum software, has just announced the ability to embed your forum right in your website directly with a line of code.

Not only that, you can also use a WordPress plugin as well! Pretty darn slick!

We’re looking into using a self-hosted version of Vanilla for one of our projects but I’m not quite sure yet about the embed.

It’s a neat trick, but cramming a forum into a blog-post-size area is a little small. In either case this is sweet.

I think its a great idea but the load times etc I would need to test out thoroughly first.

I shy away form using any 3rd party plugins that host a script elsewhere.

Couldn’t you do a full-width post template? Or do you mean even larger?
