It’s easy to find yourself jaded and alone when working in the IT industry.
Changing the way you look at your role can drastically effect your work environment in a positive way.
This week I talk about seeing IT as a ministry and how we can make a big difference in the lives of the users we serve.

Thanks! Anything specific you’d like me to cover? I’ve got one coming soon on budget hardware but would love some input on anything else our readers would like to hear about 🙂
ITMinister says
Maybe one on how IT ministers are to communicate with Pastors and headship for example; how to keep a spirit of humility, and encourage leadership to adopt new technology, how to check in with them periodically to offer assistance with maintenance or anything IT related.
Also maybe a video on the process of prepare, develop, and completing any technology related projects either alone or in a team setting.
I would also like to see a video on providing IT for International Evangelist teams, like preparing his/her/their mobile devices and other IT equipment, what we need to know about presentations, how to efficiently stay connected to the internet where every he/she/they are ministering in the world on or not on a budget, or anything
Maybe even a video on best software/app that ministry teams can keep secure and efficient communications no matter where at in the world with easy social media integration, efficient file sharing and synchronizing, chat, instant messaging, and storage with personal/private server.
The Lord says “Go to nature. Doesnt nature now teach you” He also says “Rom 1:20
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” I would like to see a series on how you can see spiritual lessons from God in technology (Nature of Technology). For instance; God “spoke” everything into existence and you can see that principle in programming languages where you use a sequence of characters or words to create anything you can virtually imagine. I believe you can see scriptural principles in anything made but I would love to see a series on those lessons in anything technology.
Just some ideas

I really appreciate you taking the time to lay out some great ideas here! I’ll definitely take these in to consideration as I’m planning out my next videos!
