    Yes it does. This is what I use it for.

    Yeah, I use it to communicate, but I also use it to find out what people are saying.

    makes absolute sense to me…I find out more on twitter than many things online.

    Yes it makes sense.

    However information networks only work by it being a two way thing and so far I’m yet to be convinced that twitter does this effectively.

    The fact is…Twitter isn’t sure what Twitter is.

    Information network? I guess that’s a layer of it. But it’s just as much social.

      hey stephen after hearing the keynote i would say that twitter knows exactly what it is, it just doesn’t want to tell us.

      there was definitely a “why don’t you tell me what you think it is” vibe throughout.

      i agree w you that it’s extremely social in spite of the common criticisms.

    it’s an amazing network in terms of sharing information pieces that lead you back to the sources…
