But wait! What about Twitter…!?!
Enter TweetTranslate.com! It’s pretty self-explanatory, so no need to go into too much detail. It apparently is using Google’s Translation API as well.
I tried it a few times. It apparently works.

How often do you want to send out a tweet in a language you don't speak? am I misunderstanding the idea?
What would be REALLY cool is automatically translating your incoming feed into another language for our foreign friends.
yes, now THAT would be cool. otherwise, yes… not sure. people who are following you would obviously be following your original language….
