Tony Morgan just announced his involvement with SoChurch and I couldn’t be more pleased with this exceptionally strategic addition.
From his mouth:
That’s what appealed to me about SoChurch. The team behind SoChurch wants to remove the friction that has unfortunately become such a part of church leadership today. With their aim to truly serve the needs of the local church, I am pleased to join this experienced team of visionaries as an advisory board member.
There will be more team announcements very soon. In this role, I will be helping their team fulfill their vision of serving the Church. I’ll be sharing perspectives regarding the needs of churches and their leaders, particularly in this area of communication.
And check out this new teaser he released:

Get excited… more news to certainly come…!

Such a beautiful UI.
Aw shucks. Thanks!
This sounds like a great partnership as well as a great way for churches to have a hub for social media on their main site. Looking forward to hearing more about this product as well as the people you are partnering with.
Thanks Gary. Be sure to follow @sochurch on Twitter and Facebook and you will surely be kept up to speed.
I am so excited about SoChurch! As someone who hopes to one day work in more closely with a church communication team this is awesome to see!
Well hopefully we can make that process of working with a church communication team in the future a much more pleasant process. Thanks for your enthusiasm, Graham!
Ya’ll are going all the way. Will SoChurch have any WordPress in it? I’m not sure it even makes sense, but I figured if it was possible, you’d be doing it.
Hey Stephen, it won’t really make sense to implement in/within WordPress, however, we expect we will craft some nice plug-ins for church members to implement on their blogs that stream related content from their own church’s website. We’re very keen and focused on ensuring the product has the right integrations and doesn’t recreate the wheel in any way, so you can be certain of that at the very least.
Spread the word!
That UI is looking perdy.
Now I REALLY want to go to there!
w00t w00t!
really excited to see where this goes
