A photographer from Germany, Robert Pionteck, has done a little something different with panoramic photography.
Taking real-life panoramic photographs, and editing them together in such a way, that they look like little plants. Much like the planets you find in Super Mario Galaxy.
Take a look at these amazing “Tiny Planet’s”, and what free program you can use to make your own!
Pionteck used a panorama photo stitcher called, Hugin.
It’s free to use, and is available for both Windows and Mac.
You can download the latest release from the Hugin website, and view more tiny planets at Tiny Planet Photography.
Enjoy!

While not free 🙁 You can also get this effect pretty easily with Photoshop – http://www.flickr.com/photos/jdblundell/3732679806/
