Colors communicate meaning.
This should not be underestimated when you’re designing a website, logo or anything else.
Blue, generally receives a cool, calm, trustworthy, knowledgeable response. The color red, in contrast, is exciting, eye catching, fast acting and powerful.

This is brilliant. I enjoy looking at this and seeing what makes a logos jump out of the clutter. Red definitely pops. Small hint: Red Facebook ads do really well

I think that there must be something to Google’s rainbow logo and Apple’s start-up rainbow logo. What does that communicate?
