The Power and Potential of Google’s Chrome, HTML5

If you haven’t seen Arcade Fire’s “The Wilderness Downtown“, which was announced on Google’s blog, it a fantastic example of the power of Chrome and where it can head as a multimedia experience.

Boot the site up in Chrome, type in your address, and be amazed (and a bit spooked):

    i just downloaded Chrome & played it. You’re right, that was cool & creepy at the same time. the only thing creepier would have been if they had gotten inside the house. : – o

    My favorite part were the birds and the tree, but the video was cool as well.

    That was fun!
    We used to have trees in our front yard….would’ve been spooky to see them pop-up again…
