Have you ever been to one? Thoughts?
Check out their video wall too, which I honestly thought was pretty neat.

I have not been in a Microsoft store yet, but here where I live, in Minneapolis, it’s going to be interesting to see the Microsoft store open up at the Mall of America. They chose a location smack across the “street” from the Apple Store. Looking out the Apple Store, you’ll see Microsoft. Looking out Microsoft Store, you’ll see Apple. I go to the Mall of America regularly so I was thinking of doing some observation of people walking in both stores and seeing their reactions to the products, people, etc.
Didn’t know Microsoft had stores. I live in Seattle Washington and wouldn’t know where to tell folks to go other than the headquarters. I don’t think it looks like an Apple store. I think it looks like my local library.
I wouldn’t go to a Microsoft store to buy their products. I’d go to Fry’s, Best Buy or online at Amazon.com.
We have an HP store near us that looks exactly like the Apple store 3 doors down. Learn from the best!
a microsoft store seems like a departure from their strategy to me. But so does the spicy chicken sandwich from Cfa…
Really Microsoft? Can’t you do something new on your own and not keep trying to copy Apple? Guess not!
uh, yeah looks like the Gateway store i bought my first laptop from… in 2001… and also like the Sony store in some of the major malls… Apple did copy the best.
Sam, I was thinking the exact same thing. Computer stores didn’t start with Apple, and both the Gateway and Sony stores were very nice and “friendly” stores.
Sadly (or maybe not) There is NOT a Microsoft Store in Seattle
Thankfully we have at 5 apple stores within 40 miles of my house.
