The age of the Internet provides us with a near endless supply of content in so many different mediums. The social media onslaught has reduced our attention span to almost zero. And we are able to connect with people that create great content as well as those that make terrible, minimal effort junk.
In all of this chaos, if you want your church, ministry or nonprofit to survive online, let alone be able to speak through the noise, you need to create lots and lots of great content. Need some tips?
Here are some key points from the infographic below:
- Content that is not unified is just a bunch of noise amongst even more noise and really is not worth your time.
- While I would like to see the research that justifies this, the infographic shares that longer content is what is going to be key. 2,000 words or more.
- Content is specialized to your readers. Churches, are you going to go for the commnity or push to engage with your congregation? Make the content for them.
