Not that we’d rejoice in their fall, but in hopes that we could learn a thing or two. Where would I even begin to get that information…?

You could contact the offices of several large church organizations. I’m sure they keep a church plant mortality rate. It’s definitely talked about among church circles.
Interesting question. Seems like you’d need to use a different set of criteria to judge a church start flop. Things like community demographics would seem to me to be as important as how much money you put into a church start.
Yea call up conventions and councils for denominations…
By the way…that infographic represents 4,214,000,000 in mistakes
i would not mind 1 of those million dollars…
I miss Webvan. Someone should figure that out and bring it back.
I bet that most church flops involve building campaigns, but aren’t necessarily “start-ups”
In fact, I bet we’d see more wins if churches with unused facility space would partner with church plants to use the space better. It is all God’s anyway, right?
I absolutely loved Webvan. @Dewdette and I still lament its demise. We lost a cool service and… a couple hundred shares of stocks.
