“Start” App: iPad Browsing Made Awesome

ipad start app

[Editor's Note: We are giving gave away 5 copies!]

Earlier this week we reviewed the “Start” app by k5Software.

Start is a really slick browser built for the iPad. Oppose to the usual tablet browsing experience whereby the desktop browser has been adapted and ported to the tablet, Start is a browser built for the tablet in mind.

It’s packs-in some nice features, too:

  • 1 click to create a PDF from a web page
  • Tabbed Browsing
  • Easily Mail screen capture of web page
  • Supports Printing of web page
  • Save web page to Pocket (Read It Later)
  • Easily pin an image to Pinterest
  • Tweet links
  • Opens MS Office documents and convert them to PDF.
  • More to come!

You can learn more about the app here if you like.

Now, let’s get to the fun part!

The Giveaway!

We are giving gave away five copies of Start.

Here’s how to enter:

  • Share this post on your favorite social network.

I think the ease of taking content from the web and sending it to others is the best part of this program. I like how you can easily make PDF’s from web pages, I think that could be really useful with our teams. NICE! I hope I win a copy.

Interested to see how they intergrate the PDF function. Will it be the full page, or just above the fold?

I love the “Save to Pocket” feature. Ever since Pocket went FREE, I’ve been using it like crazy!

I like the pdf and pinterest option.. it looks like it may work better than the actual pinterest app. Plus, it allowed for better portability for all websites.
