But the open source-ness is a value-add for me, personally. I'm a coder, and source control is a tool. Pretty is nice, but pretty is a secondary feature. It suffers from the same thing as most open source projects: lack of polish, refinement, and that "I'm a real product" feeling. Same with Jira.
